Meet Mary Burney, Care Advocate
As the friendly and compassionate CA at Rooted Wellness Chiropractic, Mary welcomes patients and ensures that the operations of our practice run smoothly. As the front desk manager, she manages scheduling and helps with scanning and other duties to help Dr. Sarah. Two aspects of Mary’s job that she particularly likes are working with moms and babies and the flexibility her position offers, allowing her to enjoy a healthy work-life balance.
A Lifelong Belief in Chiropractic Care
While Mary’s professional role in chiropractic care is new, her personal connection goes back years. She’s been seeing a chiropractor since she was 16; Mary dealt with migraines, but chiropractic care provided much-needed relief, naturally.
When her son Blaine (now 13) began experiencing chronic ear infections as a toddler, regular adjustments not only alleviated his discomfort but also avoided the need for surgical tubes. Mary reflects on how much she wishes she had known about chiropractic care when her 16-year-old daughter Mallory was a baby. Mallory struggled with severe acid reflux, and as a new mom, Mary didn’t realize there were alternative options. Instead, she relied on medication to manage the condition.
A Family Focus
Family is at the heart of Mary’s life and her connection to chiropractic care. Married to her high school sweetheart Adam for 21 years, she and her husband are raising Mallory and Blaine, along with their Bichon Frise, Lola. Chiropractic care has become a family tradition, with regular visits every two weeks.
A Local Texan With Deep Roots
Born and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas, Mary has lived in nearby Burleson for the past 16 years. She’s deeply connected to her community through her church and her children’s activities.
